Reading with your child strengthens your bond and provides them with skills which will help them when they begin learning to read. Use this program to track how many books you read with your child before Kindergarten!

READ, CUDDLE, REPEAT

You may count the same book multiple times, books that anyone reads to your child, and any books that you read for our summer and winter programs.

Download and print the log to start keeping track, then for every 100 books you read log in to "Complete the Mission." You will earn a badge at each level, prizes along the way, and a certificate of completion at 1,000 books.

You can also choose to skip the paper log and keep track of your progress by completing the activity missions online.

MAKE IT FUN

Read just one book a day and you will finish in less than three years.

Select any type of book: board books, picture books, early readers, non-fiction, and early literacy kits.

And of course, enjoy this special time together. Use props, silly voices, take turns retelling, or make up different endings. These activities will build vocabulary and create a positive association between reading and fun.
